Mankind and the World

"Psychedelic Rock merged with Retro Rock is, apparently, the formula used by Enuma Elish, one of the most interesting bands for the last  few years, considering the rock spectrum made on the islands. The demoCD MAQUETE sent to us reveals it with no doubt. In fact, every now and then, emerges a new band and a new sonority as a result of diverse fusions, which we may tell this project is on the top. Curiously, the lyrics are in english but the song titles are in portuguese, fact that they admit. Enuma Elish do not represent the new generation of musicians because they started playing together in 1993, by the name of Chili Mozart, which would be changed two years later. However, the current crew is the great mind behind their interesting career. In 2000 they won the AngraRock rock contest, and two years later they accomplished an honorable second place. From the Enuma Elish, we wait for more music, hoping their debut album won't take too long to come up. And I say this because I've seen too many bands glooming and vanish later on in the core of the Azorean fog!"
