"It won't be hard to guess that insularity is a problem which some people have to struggle against each day. Over there, playing rock doesn't provide you to live, unless you're willing to bind the way you play.

But as obvious, being isolated in an island, you feel obliged to struggle even more when you are submitted to this type of competition.

The winners of the AngraRock rock contest first edition, the Enuma Elish are an incredible and refreshing proposal. The way they mix heavy riffs with monochordic vocals and rhythmic breaks, and a very obscured environment, makes them incredibly original. They seem to show more interest in developing ambiences than to writing their own songs, but even Eterno Descanso - Eternal Rest is a great song."

José Rodrigues, in  BLITZ,  Jun.2002
