Enuma Elish is an epic that relates the creation of
the world and mankind, result of the tyranny of gods and
their misfortunes. It tells the tale of a whole process
that encompasses the idea of the rebirth from chaos and
ashes, originating the appearance of minor beings –
mankind – which will serve their mythological heroes
when necessary.
The
faith of Men always intended to explain its own
existence, as well as to feed its immortality hopes.
The
appearance of the Enuma Elish band resides in the
necessity of a deep restructuring base on a will to
innovate its own sound, style, and attitude. Following
the success achieved locally by Chili Mozart and
its hiatus, the formation intends to follow an original
project, bearing some charisma, revealing the elements’
understanding among themselves, and the accumulation of
various experiences and influences, as well as their
real capabilities in the several musical genres.
The
analogy couldn’t be a better one.
In
addition to search for a new name that contained the
necessary universality in content and meaning, the band
tried to reemerge to the musical scene with a new
project, whose songs flowed musically and lyrically with
some spirituality.
Enuma
Elish is willing to continue its work chasing to acquire
a style of its own, dubbed Dark Rock.
